How to pack your luggage efficiently

“Hello, my name is Raphael and today we will be talking about how to pack efficiently. So, we know now that airlines are charging for every bit of luggage that we’re bringing on. So there should be a better way to do this. Especially now that the holidays are coming, it’s important to pack efficiently. The first thing you should do is make a list. What is this list going to contain? It’s a good idea to go through your day to see what you need. When you wake up, you’re wearing your pajamas, so get your pajamas ready. Then you probably take a shower. So, remember your shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotions, etc. If you’re planning to not check your bag, remember the little bag to be TSA compliant. Then you get dressed, what do you use when you get dressed? Underwear, socks, t-shirts, are you going anyplace nice? Are you going to need nice shirts, blouses? Maybe a sweater. What kind of shoes are you taking? Remember, be efficient always, if you don’t need it, don’t take it. Ideally, you should only take one pair of shoes with you, and take all things that are going to coordinate with those shoes. Maybe one more pair of shoes and also one set of pants or skirt. After you make your list, it would be a good idea to gather all the things you are going to take with you. In this case I have all my shirts right here, it would be a good idea to get all your shirts and blouses together. Everything that has to do with cold weather sweater and pajamas together. Pants together, all your underwear together, shoes that you’re taking. It is also important to have a toiletry bag to put everything in here. And also you will have toothpaste maybe a brush, etc. After you have everything together, you have to decide how you are going to put it in there. You will need to know what size luggage you will need. Hopefully you are only going to need a small one so you don’t have to check it in. Let me show you what a lot of people do. They grab a pile and put it in the luggage. That wastes a lot of space. What is a better way? Take your garment, and roll it. Roll it you say? Yes, roll it. It will prevent your garment from being wrinkled and save space. You do that for all your shirts and blouses, and begin putting it in. Another idea is take the smaller items and place them in the little spaces that your luggage has. For example, this luggage has some grooves right here, and that will allow you to save some space. Why? You could put your underwear in the grooves the luggage has, allowing you to save some space. Another idea, lets say that you’re taking another pair of shoes with you. There is some space that a lot of people don’t use. Take your underwear and socks and everything and put them inside the shoes. That way you’re not occupying the space. Now its time to put everything in the suitcase. Done! All those things are now in my luggage. It’s a good idea to place your things in layers so you can know exactly where things are and they don’t actually get wrinkled. This will allow you to take one piece of luggage. You don’t have to take the 50 that people normally take. Avoid all the charges the airlines are charging right now for luggage. So, this is a good idea of doing it. Remember, roll, have everything ready first. What are you going to need. Roll, put everything together, take all the space you want, use all the space you need and travel safe. Bon voyage!”
