“Hey, guys, I am Najum, and I’m gonna show you how to play some basic chords on the guitar. Today I am going to be showing you, guys, three different chords to play. They will be a C major, an A minor, and an E minor. In order to play a C chord, you’re gonna need to put a finger on the third fret on the A string, a finger on the second fret on the D string, and you’re gonna skip a string and put a finger on the first fret of the B string. In order to play an A minor chord, you’re gonna put a finger on the D string on the second fret, on the G string on the second fret, and the B string on the first fret. For our E minor, we are gonna put a finger on the second fret on the A string and a finger on the second fret on the D string. Now, before you get down and start, you might wanna come with the little strum pattern for yourself. It could be down up down up , it could be just all down strokes, just anything you feel comfortable playing with, and try mixing up the chords a bit. Take those three chords, and interchange them. Don’t necessarily do them in one order. Mix it up and you will get different sounds. So, I will show you how the chord sounds and we’ll go from there. This right here is a C chord and go to an A minor, then E minor, and then you just repeat. Then mix it up a little bit. Alright, guys. Hopefully you learned something a little bit new here today, and get out there, practice up and write some songs. I’ll see you later.
